Kick off event for the American Cancer Society's month long "Eat A Rainbow" Campaign. This event will feature nutritionists and chef demos to raise awareness for Colorectal cancer prevention through a healthy diet of a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

About Eat A Rainbow:
In recognition of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, the American Cancer Society Hawaii Pacific is introducing a new campaign to educate residents on the importance of colorectal cancer (commonly referred to as colon cancer) screenings and prevention. The campaign features nine prominent health care and union leaders encouraging men and women to talk to their physicians about colon cancer screenings.

Cooking demonstrations will also be available throughout the month to offer preventative methods in reducing risk of colon cancer.
