On April 7th, District Bar will be hosting the Chicago Charity Network.

In honor of the April 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Chicago Charity Network is honoring ECOChallenge2020. ECOChallenge2020 is an independent advocacy initiative which believes in balancing ECOnomics and ECOlogy to create healthier alternatives for youth. ECOChallenge2020 is working with Chicago Public Schools to provide gardens for some of the public schools in the inner city. Thus, teaching students how to grow food that is beneficial to our environment and leads to healthy eating habits. In addition to providing gardens to the public schools, ECOChallenge2020 along with Peace Journey provides opportunities for students to learn about and travel to ECO-farms in American and around the globe.
