Suggestions on what to bring, new knitter!
-Size 10 needles (6mm)
-Worsted weight yarn - When you are at your yarn shop (ask if you need suggestions!) just tell the clerk that you are learning to knit and they will tell you which yarn is best! My suggestion: Buy a bright color...black is hard to see your stitches and should only be used after you are used to knitting.
I also suggest you purchase "Stitch n' Bitch : The Knitter's Handbook" by Debbie Stoller. This is how I learned and I still refer to it if I have any questions. It pretty much rules!
Don't want to knit? Bring something to be creative with! Nothing messy tho. We want to keep Pike clean!
