Summer is at its apex, and before we start meandering to our fall commitments, I thought it might be good to gather around and enjoy something sweet, and something savory...

The Sweet: Yummycups Cupcakes
Yummycups was founded by Gary Atud and Robert Vargas in 2010 as a way to help raise funds for their children’s sports team trips. From the beginning, word spread about their fundraiser cupcakes, and with more buzz, they decided to be even braver and offer more exotic flavors, all to help support their children’s athletics and the promotion of the Olympic sport of Tae-Kwon-Do.

For this night, Yummycups will be offering three different sampler cupcake packs, for $12 a tray. Each pack will have three different flavors, with two of each:

Sampler Pack #1: Chocolate/Skor; Coconut/Lime; Chai/Latte/Honey-Ginger

Sampler Pack #2: Red Velvet; Strawberry Mochi; Banana Cream

Sampler Pack #3: Pina Colada; Chocolate Haupia; and Chocolate Peanut Butter

UPDATE: Pulled Pork will be available for sampling.

Pre-orders will be made for these samplers, and will be due by Friday evening, July 23rd, in order to give Yummycups a count. Individual cupcakes may be available; Info will be posted once updated. Payment is in cash at the tweet-up, so make sure you bring accordingly.
